Horners hold two specialist stamp and postcard sales per annum, plus periodic single-owner sales for important consignments. These sales are overseen by our specialist David Wild who has 43 years full time experience within the collectable auction trade locally and has been with us since 2008. David is happy to advise prospective vendors and give free valuations and advice. David describes, photographs and prepares the lots ready for sale, is on hand during auction week to give further information and deal with requests for additional scans. The fully illustrated catalogue is normally available on this website about 10 days before the sale, also a downloadable text only version is available from which a catalogue can be printed free of charge. For those without computers we can mail this version for a modest charge of £4 incl. postage). Commission bids can be submitted in person, by phone or email, also live internet bidding is available via this website.

Coins, medals, banknotes and other collectables are also dealt with in a similar way, these are sold within a dedicated collectables section within our fortnightly sales.
